Privacy Policy
How Ahqenza Limited collects, uses and protects personal information, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Ahqenza Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15284802, whose office is at 11-12 Old Bond Street, London W1S 4PN, United Kingdom. In this policy, "Ahqenza", "we", "us" and "our" mean Ahqenza Limited.
Ahqenza Limited is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. We are committed to handling personal information lawfully, fairly and transparently in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, email enquiries@ahqenza.com or write to us at the address above.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the enquiry form on this website, we collect your name, organisation, email address, telephone number (if you choose to give it), the subject you would like to discuss and the message you send. We also collect the information you give us when you email, call or meet us.
Information connected with our services
If we are engaged to provide advisory, investigation, review, facilitation, development or speaking services, we will process the personal information needed to deliver that work, such as contact details for the people we work with, invoicing details and records of the engagement.
Independent investigations and reviews can involve information about employees, witnesses and other individuals. That information is handled under the terms agreed with the organisation that commissions the work, which is usually the controller of it, and we provide further information to the people involved where the law requires it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site keeps technical logs of visits, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to keep the website secure and working properly. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
3. How we use your information
We only use personal information where we have a lawful basis to do so. We use it to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss whether and how we can help, on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
- deliver and manage the services we have been engaged to provide, on the basis of performing our contract, or our legitimate interests where the contract is with your organisation;
- keep business, accounting and tax records, on the basis of our legal obligations;
- keep this website and our systems secure, on the basis of our legitimate interests; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims and comply with regulatory requirements, where this is necessary.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the details you send through this website for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Sensitive information
Many of the matters people bring to us are confidential. All initial enquiries are treated in confidence. Please keep your first message brief and avoid including detailed information about other people or special category information, such as health information, until we have spoken and agreed how the matter will be handled.
Where an engagement requires us to process special category or criminal offence information, we will only do so where the law allows, for example where it is necessary for employment law obligations, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or reasons of substantial public interest, and with appropriate safeguards in place.
5. Who we share it with
We only share personal information where necessary, and with:
- service providers who support our business, such as our website hosting, email and IT providers, who may only use it on our instructions;
- professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed;
- the organisation that commissioned an engagement, in line with the agreed scope and reporting arrangements; and
- regulators, law enforcement agencies, courts or other authorities where we are required to by law.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so your information stays protected to UK standards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. As a guide:
- enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact;
- client and engagement records are kept for up to 6 years after the end of the engagement, to meet legal, accounting and professional requirements; and
- website server logs are kept for a short period in line with our hosting provider's standard practice.
Where an engagement agreement sets a different retention period, we follow that agreement.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including restricted access to confidential material. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so if your enquiry is particularly sensitive you may prefer to ask us to call you first.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask for your information to be transferred to another organisation, where this applies; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
Some of these rights have exceptions, for example where information forms part of a confidential investigation or is needed for legal claims. To use any of your rights, email enquiries@ahqenza.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

This website does not set cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains this in more detail.
